Is Your Heart Offended?

Proverbs 18:19 NLT
An offended friend is harder to win back than a fortified city. Arguments separate friends like a gate locked with bars.

In Acts 13:2, the Holy Spirit called Barnabas and the Apostle Paul to work together in ministry. Later in Acts 15:36-39, the two had a sharp disagreement and parted ways.

The devil loves to see brothers and sisters in Christ divided, but God doesn’t want us to keep offense in our hearts.

Unity isn’t always easy because even Spirit-filled Christians have weaknesses that God must refine. That’s why we should pray for understanding, and ask God to help us maintain peace in our relationships.

Also, let’s remember that no one was wronged more than Jesus, yet He continues to show mercy.

Colossians 3:13 NLT
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
